How we use your personal data

Any details the customer enters into the Trueli Nature site will be kept in a secure database that follows the EU legislation and under the GDPR guidelines, the data is stored for the purpose of completion of a customer purchase order. Trueli Nature will use these details to complete the customer purchase order and also may contact the customer to troubleshoot a purchase order and provide technical support. Customer data may also be used to contact the customer in relation to delivery status all of which; ensure a smooth transaction for both parties.

The customers details may be used for marketing purposes in the future for Trueli Nature in circumstances such as a notification when new products are available and the customer will always be provided with a means to opt out of this service.

Trueli nature would only require basic information that relates to your purchase such as product information, name, address, contact number, email and payment details.

Any customer details held are protected from unauthorised access.

Trueli Nature only uses minimal third party apps which are required for purchase purposes such as payment gateways and have made steps to ensure that any apps used are secure and conform with the EU legislations.

How we hold your personal data

Any orders made with Trueli Nature will have an invoice that will be kept as an electrical copy of the customers original invoice which is kept as a record for HMRC purposes and will be stored on hardware that is accessible only to Trueli Nature and securley stored on a server maintained by the host which is Wix.com. Wix provides Trueli Nature with the platform to sell products to the customer and data is stored through the general Wix applications and are stores on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by Trueli Nature and its service providers. 

 

***The only circumstance this may be exempt from is; if customer details are demanded by a legal authority which in this situation Trueli Nature will cooperate***

Consumer rights

The customer has rights involving the access and storing of their personal information, including; the right to be informed and to decline any cookies being stored on their personal devices. The customer can also opt in or out of marketing campaigns by Trueli Nature and can request to see the data held or receive a copy of this information.
